Kindergarten Math Magicians

My students need 1 set of Shape Finders, a Number Derby Comparing Game, a Measuring Math Center and a Count and Link Math Game.

It has been my joy to teach Kindergarten at a great school for the past 16 years. The best part for me has been to watch each student grow and change from the first day to the last. What a difference! It's truly amazing!

With my strong math background, I have always especially enjoyed teaching math concepts to my Kindergarten students. My goal is to teach each math concept in as many different ways and with as many different manipulatives as I can...in the hope of reaching all students' learning styles and individual ability levels. My wish is for the kids to love math as much as I do!

I believe that the kids in my classroom would really enjoy learning to measure with the Measuring Math Center, to identify and name different shapes with the Shape Finders, to compare numbers with the Number Derby Comparing game and to match numerals to sets with the Count and Link game. These games would provide a fun way for my students to learn various math skills in a new hands-on and exciting way.

I hope you will consider funding my proposal for the various math games and manipulatives that I have previously listed. I feel that they will be extremely helpful in providing my students with the opportunity to better understand the math concepts of measuring, identifying shapes, matching numerals to sets, and comparing numbers. Thank you so much for looking at my proposal. My students will be absolutely thrilled to receive these items for use during our math center time.
