Kindergarten Materials

My students need materials for reading and math stations and art projects including sight word steps, shape sorting center, geoboards and number lines.

My Students

I have a group of 25 inquisitive kindergarteners. Our school is has an amazing community and we all work together to ensure each students loves learning and is happy. I have a diverse group of students, ranging in ages from 4 to 6 years old. They love to sing and dance. They are eager to learn and love hands on experiences. They are energetic and inquisitive, and full of wonder. Every day they come to school and are ready for the day.

My Project

This project will help my students in many areas. The sight word steps will allow the students to practice their sight words in an active way. They can use a bean bag and make a game out of it, or it could be in line and they can say that words as they walk over them. They math play dough counters allows students to practice one on one correspondence in a hands on way, as well as working on fine motor skills to manipulate the play dough. The ink pads and people crayons will enhance our art projects and reading and math stations that use letter and number stamps.
