Kindergarten Learning Through Play!

Help me give my students a classroom that encourages play with learning fun. I will be moving to a kindergarten classroom next year. I would love to provide my students with opportunities to thrive and learn through play.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my kindergarten students next year already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door!

The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time.

The seat cushions will be used in our classroom library for independent reading time. The play and learning activities will be organized in our play center and used for learning during instructional time.

Containers will be placed on the shelves in the back of our classroom and they will help with our center activities during our day to day schedule.

The timer will be used so that my students know how much work time they have left, as it is not good practice to cut off students without warning.

The white boards will be used in small groups for focus lessons and learning. I know my class will love all of these items.
