Kindergarten Kindness

My students need literacy games and interactive software to use during centers and morning meeting.

My Students

Lots of little hands need lots of little games to learn with!

My students are 5 and 6 year old children who are full of curiosity.

They are eager to learn, little sponges with legs, just ready to absorb as much knowledge as possible. They love technology and are very excited about our new Promethean board and using our new interactive software daily.

My Project

I am moving from 3rd grade down to Kindergarten, and while I am very excited about this move, I also realize that a lot of the materials I have now will not be appropriate for Kindergarten students. I am using this grant to help me acquire products that I view as a necessity. They will be used daily during morning message and literacy centers. We will use them to learn our alphabet, practice phonemic awareness, and during calendar time.

These materials will have a daily impact on my students.

They are all reusable materials that will be used for years to come. These materials will literally teach a child to read, a skill that is the greatest accomplishment in a student's academic career! It's a lifelong effect!
