Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kinderartens are English Lanaguage Learners. They are curious and come to school excited to learn. Our group loves to dance, play outdoors and learn by using manipulatives. Living in Arizona, where it is always sunny, and we do not see much of the fall colors and the winter snow, I have requested books to teach students about what happens during fall and winter. We write daily and require writing journals to keep the writing in one place to review students' progress. I am teaching students about 2D and 3D shapes but need manipulatives so students can build shapes. Before we know it, it will be spring, and we will be growing plants and would like my students to have the viewer plant to see parts of a plant.
