Kindergarten, Here We Come!

Help me give my students an organized, productive, and fun start in kindergarten!

My Project

The beginning of kindergarten can be overwhelming for students, families, and teachers alike! There are many new things to explore, friends to meet, and routines to learn. All of the products I selected will support my students in their learning.

Help me set my students up for success at the beginning of their school journey with these important materials.

The calendar center will be used as a part of our daily morning meeting. This calendar is a wonderful way for students to practically apply math and literacy skills.

The dry erase printing practice books will allow students to develop their letter forming skills. These books are reusable so future students will get to enjoy them as well!

The magnetic dry erase sleeves will both allow me to display students' work and reduce the amount of paper used in the classroom - simply sliding worksheets into the sleeves makes them reusable and saves on copies! This is important in centers and gives students the chance to practice skills again and again.

Speaking of centers, the red and blue storage trays will organize materials, games, and independent activities. Centers will be color coded into math and literacy which will allow for more student independence and organization!

Lastly, the art supplies will both replenish our current materials and build up a new stash of fun! All of these materials will be used for different art projects as well as for good old fashioned play! Many items will also be used in center rotations and support the students' learning in a child-centered way! Who doesn't love forming letters out of pipe cleaners or decorating math projects with glitter and feathers?!
