Kindergarten, Here We Come!

My students need to paint, play, build and learn. These materials, like Crayola dough, crayons, stamp pads, brushes and markers, will allow them to free explore and master all that kindergarten has to offer.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ramirez's classroom raised $425

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten should be fun! Students need to create, share and make a mess every now and again. It's important for children this age to engage in creative exploration that will learn all that they must and enjoy themselves at the same time.

My students attend an elementary school that does all that it can to provide the best it's charges with the education possible.

All students have paper, pencils, books and basic supplies. However, art and free exploration are sometimes left at the at the wayside. Help a kid out. They have a lot to learn, let them have a little fun too. Manipulating dough will promote better penmanship. Twisting chenille sticks will allow them to create and develop small motor control. Paint introduces the idea of primary and secondary colors. All these things are important. All these skills can be mastered through art and craft.

My Project

Arts and crafts promote learning. Children need to create and learn. I hope to engage my students in learning while providing them with opportunities to touch things, make connections and grow at the same time. Twisting chenille sticks will allow them to create and develop small motor control. Paint introduces the idea of primary and secondary colors. All these things are important. All these skills can be mastered through art and craft.

Many of my students come from home environments that may not provide them with creative expression and age appropriate learning.

Please help me to give them all of learning that they need, and provide a bit of fun at the same time.
