Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have come to love my students after spending an entire school year with them. I want to continue to encourage their creativity and curiosity. Each item I chose has been purposely picked to nurture our students' learning and endless energy over their summer break.

My goal for this project is to allow my students to experience engaging and hands-on activities during their long break.

I want them to continue having that excitement and love for learning like we have shared all year. Everything I chose is in hopes of motivating them to go out and explore what is around them.

They will continue to work on their fine motor skills while enjoying time outside with their chalk, bubbles and beach balls. Crayons and coloring books will encourage them to use their imagination while practicing their pincer grip. Snacks will help them get the nutrition they need while also getting the energy needed throughout the day.
