Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials I have chosen are items that will be used in the classroom to further enrich my students’ learning. They will be able to use play dough and blocks as hands on learning. I will incorporate these into our literacy and math centers. Further, the books that I have chosen are some of our kindergarten favorites. These will be incorporated into our classroom library.
I believe kindergarten students best learn through a Montessori learning approach.
That is why I have chosen play items for the students to use during our centers.
