My students need a fun field trip to the orchard and pumpkin patch at Stuckey Farm to complete their units on apples and pumpkins this Fall!
My school is truly one of a kind! The staff here strive every day to ensure that their student's needs are met and the families in the community are taken care of. My school is a Title 1 school, which means a high number of students come from low-income families. My students are in kindergarten, so most of them will be attending school for the first time! It is my ultimate goal to give them the best kindergarten experience I can give them. My Kindergarten team would love to take our kids on a field trip to Stuckey Farm in October. We are hoping to raise enough money so every child can go on the trip, free of charge!
This Fall, we will be studying apples and pumpkins! To complete the units, the Kindergarten Team thought it would be a great idea to take the students to Stuckey Farm Orchard and Pumpkin Patch. On the field trip, they will be going to different stations and learning about the farm and what it has to offer. The stations include story time, a corn maze, pumpkin exploration, and corn exploration. There is even a hay ride and an awesome slide made from a big hill! Our goal is for all kindergarteners to enjoy the field trip for free. To reach this goal, we need YOUR help! The cost is $7 per child. Simply donating a small amount can send one child on the trip!
