My Project

My kindergarteners are eager to experience the world around them! I want my students to have science, art, and other classroom supplies to give them a richer kindergarten experience.

My students light up when they learn of the new science and art opportunities coming up, and are even more excited when they are given the hands-on materials.

The lab coats and goggles will help students really feel like they are scientists as we study and become experts about living things, forces of motion, and sunlight this year. We would love to watch the roots of plants grow in the root viewer!

When we integrate art, students are more engaged and excited to learn! They also produce better quality writing and handwriting so they can share their work with others! The tie dye kit (and white shirts) and color changing pens will give our classroom more color and fun! The tie dye project will also double as a classroom building activity so they can "match" each other in assemblies, parties, and field trips!

A few other things that would be very helpful to us are the felt map for while we are learning about different places and cultures around the world, the prize wheel for class games and incentives, and the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to access additional curriculum materials.
