Kindergarten Discovery: Play, Learn, Explore!

Help me give my students quality materials for guided play in kindergarten. A farm set will allow students to play while incorporating rich oral language. Sensory materials will give my students opportunities for hands-on play that supports learning.

My Project

Guided play is a crucial component of learning in kindergarten. These items will help children direct their play in ways that will boost language development and authentically integrate social skills.

My goals for this project are to help children acquire vocabulary that directly relates to our learning, practice language skills, and engage in hands-on experiences that will enrich their learning.

My students are learning two languages through immersion in both English and Mandarin. Having the strongest foundation possible in the English language is so important for their educational growth. Learning through play is a joyful and positive way to help make this happen.
