Help me give my students counting collections. This is a foundational piece of mathematical learning in Kindergarten and I would love to set up this amazing resource for them to utilize as mathematicians.
My students are diverse, active, curious, and eager to learn as they begin their foundation to learning in KINDERGARTEN. I love to be a part of my students' collaboration, creativity, and kindness as we work together to be the best we can be!
My Project
By providing students with hands-on materials and manipulatives that are fun and engaging we are providing them with the opportunity to establish, practice, and reinforce early counting skills that are foundational within their mathematical journey. These materials can provide students practice with one-to-one correspondence but also has the capacity to differentiate to meet all of the diverse levels and learners in Kindergarten. These counting collection materials would support my students in math and counting and cardinality, and many years to come. Thank you for your time and generosity, it is so appreciated!
