My students need a Cubetto to help them learn computational thinking.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special because they blossom with imagination. I work in an inner city school system with students whose eyes light up when they are learning.
Do you remember when you were younger and you would just be creative?
You may have built something in your basement or taken apart something because you were curious what it did. I want to give that opportunity to my students. All students should have the opportunity to be the next innovator. You never know who is going to create the next new piece of technology. It could be a 10 year old kid.
My Project
I am trying to develop different kindergarten centers that will work on computational thinking/computer science skills. I am hoping that the Cubetto and the adventure packs will be another tool that my students can use to understand how a computer works. What I love about the Cubetto is it will teach the students functions in coding. The Cubetto is very visual, so they will get to see what they have programmed and the actions it will do. Also, because the Cubetto programming pieces are shaped slightly different it will help all learners to feel and see the different movements. Please consider donating to this program and helping my kindergarten students get this great student centered activity.
