Kindergarten Classroom Needs Bulletin Boards!

My students need two bulletin boards and bulletin board rolls of paper to show off their classwork inside of the classroom.

My Students

As a kindergarten teacher, I get the excitement of meeting new precious faces with unique personalities every year. All of my students will come from a variety of different diverse backgrounds and most if not all of them will come from low-income housing. My school is in Bridgeport, CT which is an inner city district and my school specifically is located in a neighborhood where the poverty level is very high and we do not get any money for resources.

My Project

My kindergarten classroom has a one bulletin board outside of the classroom and zero bulletin boards inside. For the past 4 years, I have displayed students work by taping everything to our cinder block walls or to the windows. I have two large wall spaces where these bulletin boards can be hung and used to display yearly student work. I would use one to display literacy and writing projects and the other one I will use to display math work through out the year. By having these bulletin boards, it would free up the rest of my wall space where I can then utilize that space of other things. Also, I won't have to waste as much money on heavy duty tape and can use basic staples. Your donation will give to my classroom this year and for many years to come.
