Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to give my students an area for a classroom library that is cute and comfortable and instills a love for reading and learning. A place to relax and quietly read a book.

The bean bags chairs give the students a place to get comfortable in addition to the carpet, pillow, and reading buddies already in the area.

The book racks will help me to highlight books that they could successfully read, holidays, and special occasions.

The chair pockets are essential to teach the kindergarteners organization. They can keep a book that they are reading but haven’t finished in their chair pockets to come back to later.

Reading is fundamental for our students but it is important to also help them to grow to have a love for reading and learning.
