Help me give my students the opportunity to watch the life cycle of a chick as they witness eggs incubate and then hatch into live chicks!

My Project

Kindergarten students love to explore their world. My students are very curious and love hands on activities and making observations about things they see. Our school is focused on the environment and we like to provide hands on learning experiences whenever possible.

Kindergarteners will excitedly witness as eggs develop in the incubator and then hatch into small chicks.

The students will see the energy that is needed to hatch from the egg and how quickly the chicks will grow. They will also be able to observe the needs of animals as they will feed, water, provide a shelter and a heat source until the chicks are grown enough to join a farm. Finally they will have the opportunity to share their experiences with the entire school through writings and speaking opportunities on the announcements.
