This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's not easy to learn while you're hungry, which is why I always strive to have a variety of snack in our kindergarten classroom. As our school year is now half complete, our snack reserves have been depleted. This project is requesting a variety of snacks, including many of my students favorite items.

This project will bring food into our classroom, and will allow students to choose their preferred breakfast or snack item.

In addition to eating breakfast in our classroom daily, students also eat an afternoon snack before dismissal. While some families send a snack with their child, many do not, so this project will allow all students the opportunity to have an afternoon snack.

The requested fabric bins will house the food items in our classroom.
