My Project

The materials and supplies that I am are requesting will create experiences for my students and other kindergarten students. What I mean by this is, I teach at an art focused school and my team and I are working hard on making arts integrated into everything we teach. We are currently at a pause because we are unable to do any paint based art projects as we do not have any paint left. In the coming months we have various projects such as paper mache fruit, air dry sculptures, and pet rocks which could all be enhanced by utilizing paint to further define these projects. We just need your help in getting these supplies into out classrooms! The paint colors will be used to enhance creativity and individuality by allowing students to choose what colors are right for themselves and their projects. The tag board would be used for other projects we have planned such as the 4 seasons, family trees, and more to create a final piece experience. The paint pumps would be used on top of each paint color to make paint collection cleaner and easier. We would match each paint color to their corresponding no spill cup that is held in the designated carrier, making it easier to transfer from our art supply area to our classrooms. Lastly, we would utilize the paint brush so each color had its own brush making student practice various skills such as color matching and sharing.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' education across subjects through meaningful arts integration.

We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long artists and learners. My students are kind, loving and passionate and this project could help them expand their learning in so many ways.
