Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are an amazing group of learners who come from diverse walks of lives. While some sleep in cozy beds; others may sleep on the floor, couch, or share with siblings. My school is unique and has a row of buses pick up and drop off children from around the city. My district takes pride in offering parents the opportunity to select a school that best meets their child's needs.
In an era where technology is extremely prevalent, providing play opportunities is essential.
My Project
My project celebrates play through play dough. While children are manipulating play dough, they are developing their fine motor skills, developing their creativity and releasing extra energy and feelings.

The play dough center is a popular center and we are in dire need of new play dough and play dough tools. The children have the opportunity to select play dough center through daily learning centers. Their creativity is amazing and as they are manipulating the dough their little hands are becoming stronger.
