My Students

My students are fantastic. They are lively and enthusiastic and motivate me every day to be the best teacher I can be for them. As wonderful as my students are, they can also be challenging, which makes success all the more rewarding.

Many of my students do not have a lot of resources available to them outside of the school day and I want to do all I can to give them the opportunity to be active participants in their education and success.

My Project

My students are AMAZING! As everyone knows, most places across the country (and even across the world) are shutting down schools. This is a hard time for everyone and my goal is to bring some joy and creativity into the homes and lives of my students. Many of them are going to be facing problems, some big and some small right now. I created this project because I want to send home with each one of my students a set of art supplies that encourage them to keep being creative little artists and to have some normalcy in their lives.

Five- and six-year-old kids shouldn't have to worry about "big problems" and this project will allow them to paint, draw, sculpt, and forget a little about what is happening in our world right now.

From drawing paper to paints, modeling clay, and more students are eager to create and express themselves. These items allow them to be artists and show what makes them happy, what makes them who they are.
