This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please assist me in delivering a holistic education this year. It is my first year as a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher and I am in great need for materials. I teach students with disabilities receiving IEP services.

Help me provide snacks and hygiene items to assist in their learning process.

Hungry students are sometimes unable to focus. The self-care items such as tissues and wipes are for students experiencing illness or hygiene circumstances. The weighted blanket and stuffed animal will help students with regulating emotions so they can stay invested in the lesson longer.

With the alphabet and numerical decor and devices the classroom can be filled with fun opportunities for learning the foundations of Math and English Language Arts. Magnetic devices will help students see their work clearly without worrying about the pieces moving.
