it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are back in person and I am teaching a sweet, cheerful and eager group of kindergartners this year in Los Angeles. It is my first full year in person in this district and I am slowly building my new classroom. I'm eager to continue to engage my students and to cultivate a long lasting love for learning in their introductory years to school.
My Project
I will use these tubs to introduce letters of the alphabet. I will also use them for center activities to support them in their growing knowledge of letter-sound correspondence and association with words and objects. I know my students will benefit greatly from these learning tools and that we will have fun using them as well! I have many ideas of how to implement them in center activities and to use them to help students make connections between print and letters and he world. I hope to see my students' letter knowledge grow with these alphabet tubs!
