KinderBison in Need of a Reading Pasture

My students need a carpet for our circle time area. We spend a great deal of our day on the floor and would love help in making this happen.

My Students

My KinderBison and I spend a great deal of our day on the floor. We don't sit still for very long so we are constantly transitioning. We would love a colorful rug to highlight the area of our room where all of this non-table, magical learning takes place!

My KinderKids are from a little rural town just about two hours east of Pittsburgh, PA.

We love learning and being active. My school is wonderful, but we are certainly (as are most educators) suffering when it comes to certain supplies. Having a portion of our room covered with a colorful rug for circle time would be just fantastic.

My Project

No only will having a circle time rug help us feel special when we are working on the floor, it will also cover up the unsightly (and often trip-causing) computer outlets. We spend about half of our day on our carpet and right now it is nothing more special than the rest of our room. I'd love to create a place that will help the children identify it as special and separate from the rest of the classroom.

A donation to improve our classroom by receiving a circle time rug for our classroom would help to not only brighten the day of my students and liven up our plain gray carpet, but it would help them identify this area of our room and know that wonderful learning happens there.
