KinderBabies: Treasure Hunt!

My students need great prizes like lollipops, bubbles, glitter tops, sunglasses, sticky lizards, necklaces and more for their good behavior.

My Students

My students are a wonderful and exciting group of 4-5-year-old boys and girls, in an ICT (integrated collaborative teaching) classroom. This means that 40% of my students are in special education, and the rest are in general education.

We are a Title I school and work hard to ensure that everyone learns and succeeds.

They deserve everything they need to make their school year exciting and fun, as well as productive and successful throughout the entire year. They are the great storytellers of tomorrow. Together, they can learn the skills to make that happen by combining old-time Walt Disney techniques with digital photo and video of today. When I asked them what they like they all said drawing and pictures. They said that they wanted to create something from their pictures. This is great since we are a part Special Education classroom. Most of my students' strengths lie in the Arts. Utilizing their strengths can help them send an emotional message about diversity, acceptance, and understanding through making an animated video involving all students.

My Project

My students work hard and they are learning to read and write. They are learning to count, add and subtract. They are learning how to be good citizens and explore science concepts. I want to reward them for their hard work and good behavior with great prizes for our treasure box.

Kindergarten is a magical time.

These prizes help my students keep excited about learning. Through our reward system, my students earn stars. For every 10 stars they earn a prize from the prize box. Prizes like sunglasses, bendy men, bubbles, lollipops, sticky lizards, blinking hair balls, necklaces and more will be great for them to have a variety to choose from throughout the school year.
