This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hi! This year I have 23 students in my classroom. They are wonderful kids. My students are enthusiastic learners. They enjoy songs, hands on activities and read aloud.

My students are always eager to learn.

My students attend a Title I school in a low income area. The entire school participates in a free breakfast and lunch program. Our school is a caring community. Our school has dedicated teachers that love to teach. They want to make a difference in student's lives by giving them the education that they deserve.

My Project

My students are learning how to write therefore it is very important that we get two electric sharpeners. My students' pencils need to be sharpened really well so that they can write.

We need two electric sharpeners.

One for each side of the room so that half of the students can walk to one side and sharpen their pencils and the other half can walk to the other side to sharpen their pencils. My students love to write. The electric sharpeners will improve my students school lives because they will be able to sharpen their pencils. My students need sharpen pencils in order to write. My students will be able to write neater by having nice sharpen pencils.
