This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our kindergarten students are fascinated and deeply engaged in STEM learning—they’re eager for more opportunities to explore, build, and discover. With the right STEM tools, we can build on their excitement and give them the chance to solve problems and think like scientists.

I love how curious and fearless our kinder students are—they’re natural scientists!

STEM resources will help them explore, experiment, and turn their big questions into real learning.

After the tremendous success of our STEM academic club last semester, my desire is to provide them with richer experiences and higher-quality materials that will elevate their learning.

By funding the items in this project, our STEM club will have access to basic science tools such as magnifying glasses, safety glasses, and droppers that will be used for STEM experiences. Furthermore, our students will have access to more engineering opportunities with the Design and Build Engineering centers.
