Help me give my students an opportunity to engage in interactive learning using sound cards, games, and supplies to help students with letter and word recognition, and language development.

My Project

I teach in a diverse kindergarten classroom with students that are eager, curious young learners who are making the best of exploring the world around them! They are smart, funny, resilient, and love everything about learning!

I am asking for these supplies to plan better for each reading group.

The materials will help to give my students a more hands on experience and make Reading Intervention time more fun. I have seen how a fun and exciting place to learn can help students develop a love for learning. These materials help take my lessons to the next level. The Zingo Word Builder game is great for teaching spelling and vocabulary, the segmenting trays helps to stimulate visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile experience, engaging, fun ways to practice phonemic awareness. Seeing students with a variety of needs and skill I want to make sure that I can support literacy for all!

They have an ambition to keep learning and continue thriving regardless of any situation they may be experiencing in their life. These materials will allow my students to succeed in literacy through a variety of hands-on activities.

Reading intervention students are missing the basics of phonics.

The pictures of children's mouths show the correct placement of the tongue, teeth, and lips when producing specific sounds. Children easily identify with the pictures. They help students see patterns and relationship in words, thus building phonics and spelling skills. The mirror helps the children see themselves as they make the sounds. They provide reference support for children during reading and writing activities.

Since I work with my students in 30-minute increments in a small group setting, materials that help us stay on task and make learning enjoyable and hands-on are essential for us to succeed in getting my students to the next grade
