This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 5 and 6 years old students are a lively, tenderhearted group who always look forward to new adventures in kindergarten. Their little hearts and minds are so excited about learning. Enthusiasm, motivation, and just having fun is what you will find happening in my kindergarten class.

We recently experienced Hurricane Harvey's flooding in and around our city which affected our school and students.

I have students who have lost their homes, cars, and personal possessions. Many are now living with relatives, friends, or in hotels. These students' lives have changed drastically, but, yet, they come to school with smiles and hugs because school is their safe place.

My Project

My students are beginning to read, write, and spell! The cart will provide storage for magnetic letters that will be utilized to spell out words. It will also store colored pens, pencils, paper, and markers to help promote writing. The dry erase board will be used to practice writing words and sentences.

Your generous donation, without a doubt, will help my little learners enjoy word work in an organized manner.

The tray tables are perfect for any learning setting. By placing the table tray on a table, it will provide comfort for students who require standing while working. It will also provide comfort for those students who prefer sitting on the floor while working.
