Help me give my students an Atlantis Relief Globe, Lakeshore Hand Magnifiers, Crayola crayons, and prize box items -- plush animals and Libay mini cubes.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In social science we travel the world, in science we view that world up close as we magnify it, and in response to our explorations we Crayola our way toward describing what we have seen and learned in our writing responses!
Kindergarteners will explore the world using a new Atlantis Relief Globe for science and social science (Earth's rotation, weather, Earth's resources and geography) and will get an up close view of their world using Lakeshore hand magnifiers.
They will use Lakeshore hand magnifiers to get a closeup view of the world that surrounds them (plants, soil, insects, etc.). They will also record their learning as they write and use Crayola crayons to draw what they have learned.
Our explorations become more real with the proper tools.
