My Project
This year marks my tenth year in education, but it’s my very first year teaching kindergarten and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve chosen a pastel, floral theme to reflect the kind of classroom I want to create: calm, cheerful, and full of growth. I’m building a space where little learners can feel safe, curious, and inspired each day. The materials I’ve selected for this project will help lay the foundation for a joyful, hands-on learning environment where students are free to explore through play, art, and collaborative learning.
The specific items I’m requesting such as organizational tools, flexible seating options, and sensory-friendly supplies will support both academic and social-emotional development.
For many of my students, this will be their very first school experience, and I want it to be magical. These tools will help them build fine motor skills, practice independence, and engage more meaningfully in classroom routines and centers. My goal is to give them the best start possible and set them up for a lifelong love of learning.
What makes my students special is their boundless energy, their love of discovery, and the joy they bring to every new experience. Many of them are learning how to navigate a classroom setting for the first time, and I want to ensure that their first year is filled with warmth, color, and kindness. With your support, I can create a vibrant space where all students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn each day.
