My Students
I teach technology to grades Kindergarten thru third grade in a Title I school in Brooklyn, New York. Many of my students are from families that fall below the poverty line. I have students of varying levels, special needs and languages all in the technology lab at the same time.
Many of my students do not have access to technology at home so when they come to the technology lab they are excited and eager to learn and get to work.
My students are bright, cheerful, loving , excited and and eager to learn.
My Project
My kindergarten kiddos need the Go and Code Robot Mouse Activity Sets to learn coding. My kindergarten kiddos would grow in many different areas not only coding by having access to Go and Code Robot Mouse. My kinder kiddos would work in groups to create mazes for the Mouse to go through. When working in groups they are learning how to work together, how to listen to other's ideas, as well as how to explain their ideas to other's. The Go and Code Robot Mouse will also help my kinder kiddos improve their problem solving skills, they will have to figure out the best way to get the mouse through the maze.
