My Project

My students love to learn! But they especially love to be in control of their learning in fun and innovative ways.

Programming isn't about what you know; it's about what you can figure out!

These Indi robots use color-coded tiles that students arrange to 'code' the robots through paths. They will allow my students to have fun planning routes, solving problems and debugging errors while they review academic skills, such as:

Literacy: Sight word recognition, story sequencing, and phonics

Math: Counting, number patterns, and shape recognition

Science: life cycles and patterns

Collaboration: Teamwork, communication, and perseverance

This technology will help bring our curriculum to life and allow for interactive centers, small group instruction, and STEM integration in a meaningful way.
