My Project
I work in a Title 1 school filled with students who are amazing, enthusiastic, and eager to learn! We have fun every day and I try to make our lessons as engaging and relevant as I can!
I like to add extension activities, such as art or a craft, to my lessons whenever possible to build student engagement and excitement.
In order to do that there are items I need to restock for next year so that my 2023 - 2024 class has the same opportunities as this year's group.
There are some basics that we need such as sentence strips and the tape dispensers, but most of the items are directly related to an event we study. The kindness and heritage posters will be projects that students complete and share with each other. The 100th Day of School supplies will become a part of the themed centers for that day of school. The gingerbread animal craft will serve as a part of the culminating activity for our gingerbread unit and the Chinese New Year supplies will help us learn about this special winter holiday. The frames, bags, and puzzles are all a part of our end of the year celebrations.
