My Students

Do you remember your Kindergarten years? I'm sure they were filled with fun and meaningful hands-on activities. Every child deserves to have a great first start to school.

My students are from a small town in a slightly big district (our district joins three cities into one).

Our town is growing fast, sometimes too fast and it is hard for teachers to keep up with materials! These students are so eager to learn and are excited to go to school every morning.

My Project

First of all the two sided counters are required in several mathematics activities for our mandatory curriculum. The counters help students with probability. The foam blocks inspire children to use their engineering side and imagination by building and learning about spacial relationships. The weather/senses/animals sorting packages helps students learn to sort and help them to be aware of the world around them through our senses, the outside and animals.

No one realizes how much of teachers pay check goes into their classroom.

These are things I have wanted and needed in my classroom for my students for a while but just have not had to funds to support them. In the end, children are our future and why not give them every resource we can? My Pony Kindergarten class would greatly appreciate your donation!
