Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are special because many of my students are from a low socio-economic environment and I want to make them feel like our classroom is a safe, comfortable and accepting place. For many of them kindergarten is their first introduction to a school environment. COVID has impacted my students by not being able to share materials as we did prior to COVID.
These educational games will allow my students the chance to play with their peers and learn at the same time.
Students will use these games during center time to help reinforce letter and word recognition as well as use the Play-doh to create letters and words. They will also get the opportunity to learn social skills with these resources by being able to learn to share.
