This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next year I'll be moving grade levels from second grade to kindergarten. I am so excited, but a bit undersupplied in art materials. I love art and want to give these little minds an awesome artistic experience. Art in the primary grades is so important because it helps them convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore processes and outcomes, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences.

Please help give my students a set of watercolors, finger paints, and finger paint paper.

I plan on tying art to their academic learning, in addition to strengthening their fine motor skills. Watercolors and finger paints will help me achieve this goal.
