Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to give my students the experience of creating a ceramic piece and need supplies to fire the kiln. The glazes will help to make their projects pop and become beautiful works of art! The stands and kiln stand will allow me to place more projects in the kiln for firing at one time. The plastic lemons and canvases will be used to create some bright and fun still life paintings. I can draw lines on the lemons to help students to create the 3-D effect on the object and then transfer that to the painting.

Being creative and having the tools in my classroom to help me teach my students new skills, is a great gift that will touch future generations!
