My Project

The materials that I am requesting are going to make a great impact on my students. Many of my students are from low- socioeconomic situations and have never experienced what it is like to be a kid. My goal is to help these students know that they are loved and well deserved of receiving the best education, by providing them with the proper resources and materials that they need to be successful. These materials will not only help them academically, but will give them a chance to explore materials that bring out their creativity and imagination.

The chart paper will allow me to create visuals for my students.

Creating visuals gives them a better perception of what is being taught and it also provides opportunities for them to use them as resources when they are unsure about a topic.

In kindergarten, many children struggle with being in their own space. The yoga mats will allow the students to be able to have their own space and have a sense of freedom to choose where they want to sit while the learn.

I am a beginning year teacher, so I am very limited on supplies. Please help me give these students the jump start that they deserve.
