I have an amazing class of twenty-eight very diverse second-grade students. They are all sweet and smart, and I love working with them every day. I have English language learners as well as English-only learners. They have very diverse backgrounds, talents, and challenges. I learn something new from each of them every single day. I have seen my kids learn with math games, and I want that learning to continue. Math games seem to really allow my kids to learn math in a fun way!
My little ones struggle with 2nd grade math concepts.
I teach math every day, and the kids are so awesome! They are learning and doing well. However, many of them still struggle with more advanced math. When I bring out the games, they light up. They teach each other in "kid language," and they learn so much. Please help me continue the fun with more math games!
With math games to work together on, my kids will not only learn math, but they will learn to love math and think of math as fun! The folder games are quick and easy ways to get in extra math practice when time is short. I can pull them out and make quick pairings, and the kids' eyes light up. They can really get a lot of math in 10 minutes of game time!
The equivalency games will also be amazingly helpful.
I am always trying to help my students understand that there's more than one way to solve a math problem. All of these games are going to be wonderfully helpful!
