My students need Hokki stools because they are very active little kids. Research shows that kids learn best when they can move a little. Hooky stools provide just enough movement so my kiddos can focus better.

My Students
My students will come into this school year full of energy and an eagerness for learning. I'm geared up to fill them with as much knowledge as possible!
I am completely changing the way I teach my students this year.
I have done a great deal of reading and researching this summer to find the best ways in which children learn. One way I found is called flexible seating. Flexible seating is when you give your students different options other than sitting at a traditional desk in a traditional chair. The options in my room will include bungee chairs, beach chairs, video chairs, and a few others (all bought using my money.)
I want to provide just a few more options for them but my (own) classroom budget is spent. I'm hoping to get the last few items I still would like through generous donations. This year is going to be awesome!
My Project
We just started our school year yesterday. Our classroom has been totally transformed (thanks to DonorsChoose.org). I purchased other options for sitting or standing while my students are actively engaged in their learning. My kids LOVE our classroom. They love being able to move around the room as they learn during our day. No more sitting at desks! The problem is, I don't have enough Hokki stools so I thought I'd try to get a few more. Although we are just starting the year, I'm certain my students will benefit from being more active in our classroom. Please help me obtain more Hokki stools so more of my students can have a turn to sit on one.
