My eighth grade students love labs like all students do. A fully supplied lab allows a love of science to foster and grow like only hands on learning can. Watching my students participate in various lab activities is an awesome experience. The lab is where the students actually can see and apply science to their daily lives. Doing this, gives so much more meaning to what they are learning. Hands on lab days are the most fulfilling days in science.
We all remember having science labs in school. Those were the days we remembered. We loved lab days. Help me share that with this generation. This project will not only help eighth grade students today and this year, but it will build a foundation for students to crave more knowledge, ask more questions and strive to be more. I still remember my lab days with my science teachers, even all of these years later. Help my project by giving hands on learning to kids who really want to learn. Who knows what spark may form in a child’s mind. This project may be that spark.
