Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school has afterschool clubs, and I started working with a group of kids called the Kids Action Team, and our focus is on environmental activism. Our focus has been on NYC's water story: where it comes from, how it affects our city, and the negative affects of climate change on our ecosystem.
These passionate students want to model the effects of flooding on our community using an enviroscape, but we need supplies to do this!
By giving to this project you would ensure that we have the materials needed to make our very own enviroscape so that we can model the effects for other classes in our community and for other kids around the city for our final project.
