My students need 4 Samsung Chromebooks to access different online resources and tools in order to engage in lessons that address the Next Generation Science and Engineering standards.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very enthusiastic about school. They are hands-on learners, curious, active, and have a lot of imagination. My students are engaged daily in a rigorous, academic curriculum, which includes a high emphasis on STEM Learning. They live in a high poverty, metropolitan city and attend a Title I school. Our inner city school lacks funding to access supplemental learning materials.
My students come to class on a daily basis and work diligently to overcome many challenges they face living in the inner city.
My students enjoy working cooperatively and display great creativity. Parents are constantly seeking the best possible educational opportunities for their child. Additionally, I believe children benefit from experiences that include discovery, exploration, awakening curiosity, and an appreciation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They appreciate being part of a community that shows they are cared for.
My Project
The Samsumg Chromebooks will give students a new world of opportunities. They will excitedly engage in projects using technology. These projects will involve research in different subject matter specially in Science and Engineering.
Please help my students be creative problem-solvers and equip them with the necessary STEM knowledge and skills to be innovative and imaginative thinkers.

My students will engage in coding lessons consistently and apply these skills to engineering projects.
Also, students will post videos of their completed projects on our classroom online blog, expanding their learning boundaries beyond the classroom and towards a global understanding.
