My Project

Our classroom services special education students. We work with our students on their greatest needs in an intense setting outside of the whole group lessons in class. The kidney table will allow me to sit with my students and really work with them in a manner that creates trust and builds a relationship with them. Middle school students have a typical desk and this does not allow us to sit with them, work with them, and help them in a more supportive way. Middle school students are also in that odd place in life where asking for help in a whole group setting is embarrassing.

My students thrive best when instruction is intentional and personal.

They want to know they can trust me with showing when they are wrong, confused, or stuck.

My students are all special education students and they learn best in small settings while meeting their independent needs. I'm hoping you will help me provide a table for our classroom so we can build the confidence of my students in a small group setting, so they can take their confidence with them in the classroom, and bloom!
