Kid Friendly Floor for Health Clinic

My Project

My students and I are SO LUCKY to have a classroom sized health clinic and we need a refresh! We are working to create a comfortable and calming environment for students to visit the nurse and wait for parent pick up if needed. Students sometimes fear the health clinic and I strive to make the environment welcoming and positive. Some of our students may need to wait for parent pick up if they are ill and injured. The wait times can often be up to two hours. During this time, I create a calming environment with nature sounds, soft lighting, blankets etc. Our waiting area would benefit from this soft rug both visually and as an optional place to sit and play with quiet activities such as blocks and legos.
