This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me provide my kindergarten dual language students with chair pockets, primary composition books, crayons, dry erase markers, dry erase erasers, and Spanish magnetic letters to enrich their learning experience. Chair pockets will offer each student a dedicated space for organizing their materials, keeping them easily accessible and minimizing distractions. This will help them stay focused and engaged during lessons. Primary composition books are essential for developing early writing skills and supporting language growth in our dual language program. Crayons, dry erase markers, and dry erase erasers will encourage creativity and interactive learning, allowing students to practice and refine their skills effectively. Spanish magnetic letters will aid in literacy development in both languages.

Our goal is to foster an organized and stimulating classroom environment that maximizes learning opportunities.

By equipping our students with these tools, we aim to create a supportive atmosphere where they can thrive academically and socially.

What makes our students exceptional is their resilience and enthusiasm for learning, despite the challenges of a low-income background. Navigating a dual language curriculum requires additional support and resources, and with the right tools, we can bridge gaps and ensure they have a strong start in their educational journey. Providing these supplies is not just about meeting material needs; it’s about building a foundation for confidence, skill development, and academic success. Investing in these resources means investing in their future and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
