This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m seeking your support to provide my students with the necessary items to kick off their soccer journey—specifically, socks, shin guards and shorts. These items will ensure their safety while playing, allowing them to focus on developing their soccer skills without the worry of injury. By having the proper equipment, my students will be able to participate confidently and comfortably in each practice and game.

The goal of this project is not only to provide my students with physical gear, but also to build their confidence, social skills, and teamwork abilities.

Soccer will serve as a platform for these students to work together, set goals, and celebrate both individual and collective successes. It’s about much more than just the game—it’s about building life skills that extend beyond the field.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their genuine joy in coming to school each day. They approach every challenge with determination and a positive attitude, and soccer will be another avenue for them to show what they can accomplish. Many of these students are often overlooked in traditional sports settings, but they are incredibly capable and excited to be part of something where they can thrive. Your contribution will empower them to shine, teaching them valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and pride.
