Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, our students are curious, energetic, and always looking for ways to connect—with each other and with learning. Sports and active play are a huge part of how our students build friendships, grow their confidence, and release energy in positive ways. On our small campus, space is limited and so is equipment. With more resources like soccer balls, portable goals, and one mid-size ping pong table, students will have more opportunities to stay active in ways that support both their physical and emotional well-being.

Having a variety of equipment will allow more students to find activities they enjoy and feel successful in.

Whether it's a fast-paced soccer game or a quieter match that builds focus and coordination, these tools will help students develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. My goal is to create a school environment where every student feels like they have a place to play, participate, and grow. What makes our students special is their determination—they make the most of every moment, even when resources are limited. This project would give them more choices, more fun, and more reasons to love coming to school.
