This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every morning, our students dive into exciting 20-minute physical education sessions, learning new skills each week and gearing up for an exhilarating tournament at the end of the quarter. To make this all happen and give our kids the best experience possible, we urgently need your help. As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

With your generous donations, we can purchase essential equipment like team handballs and kickballs that will make a huge difference in our students' learning.

This equipment will keep all 135 6th-grade students actively involved instead of waiting around in lines. Our goal is to introduce two engaging sports each quarter, helping students master skills such as kicking, dribbling, catching, and defending.

Our students are amazing—they bring energy, enthusiasm, and a real passion for physical activity. By funding this equipment, you'll help create a PE program that’s fun, active, and effective. Kickball alone burns between 300 to 600 calories per hour, making it a fantastic way to boost fitness and encourage a love for exercise that lasts a lifetime.

Plus, with your support, we’ll end the year with a thrilling staff vs. 6th-grade kickball game. Imagine our students, equipped with new gear, taking on the staff in this exciting showdown. Your donation will not only provide the tools they need but will also spark their enthusiasm, energize their school days, and make a real impact on their physical education experience. Together, we can achieve something truly special.
